Home schooling? Better? I am considering it for my child? Disadvantages?

I have one daughter, she is only 4, and I am actually considering home schooling. Will she become socially crippled? I will be living in a well populated area, don’t want to shelter her, but I was interested in your input.
as for my education, I’m an attorney, have a valid license to practice in NY but I’m not much of a math wiz. haha.
